On Friday 23 May, les Amis de l’Université du Luxembourg (AUL) and the Uni.lu Alumni Network hosted the 7th annual Scholarship and Award Ceremony at the Chambre de Commerce, celebrating this year’s AUL Scholarship and Award recipients.
Evening Highlights
The evening’s highlights included the following :
- Welcome Address by Mr Sivakumar Bactavatchalou, Member of the Board of Directors, Les Amis de l’Université du Luxembourg
- Introduction to the Evening by Prof Dr Philippe Hiligsmann, Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs
- Presentation of the Dr Jean-Claude Loutsch Award by Mrs Josannette Loutsch, President of the Loutsch-Weydert Foundation
- Presentation of the Portabella Scholarship by Mrs Alexandra Da Silva, Vice-President of the Luis y Antonio Portabella Foundation
- Certificate Ceremony for the 10 new Portabella Scholarship recipients
- Roundtable Discussion: From Awards to the Job Market, hosted by the Alumni Network

The event was moderated by Andy Adams, Alumni Relations Specialist, and concluded with a networking cocktail reception.
